Our founder, Emma, is a passionate traveller (some would say addict!) and a meticulous planner. She loves to travel with friends and family and is often the person who does all the research. So we understand first hand the challenges of finding a holiday home that can comfortably accommodate big groups while providing something for everyone. Unfortunately, the search often ends with nothing promising. That’s why we decided to create Hirasté.

Emma saw an opportunity to fill a gap in the market and brought her dream of Hirasté to life with the help of her industry connections and a dedicated team. With her background in travel writing, blogging, event organization, and public speaking, Emma has a wealth of experience that she brings to the Hirasté team.
Behind The Name
The name Hirasté is a combination of the Welsh word "hiraeth," meaning a longing for a place that can never be revisited, and the Indian word "namaste," meaning "greetings to you." The name embodies our mission to find the right places for you and your family to feel at home and create unforgettable experiences.
