These luxurious accommodations feature spacious interiors thoughtfully designed for children of all ages, with access to various play areas both indoors and outdoors. Many lodges boast private playrooms filled with toys, while all feature cozy wood-burning stoves and private decks. For added convenience, each lodge offers essential amenities such as full-size wooden cots, bed guards, blackout blinds, highchairs, and stair gates. Guests also have full access to the on-site facilities.

On site we offer an array of activites The part of the holiday that sets Coombe Mill apart from other child friendly farm holidays is the morning tractor rides around the farm to feed all the different animals (each morning except Wednesdays and Saturdays). From Chickens, Pigs, Ducks and Guinea Pigs, to Sheep, Alpacas, Goats, Deer and Ponies, there really is an animal to please everyone who stays. We also have an outdoor play areas, games room, adult only gym,carp fishing lakes and fishing rights on the river camel, pitch and putt golf, small softplay and 26 acres to explore.

Coombe Mill offers a unique blend of farm experiences and recreational activities. Daily tractor rides provide an opportunity to interact with and feed a variety of farm animals, including chickens, pigs, ducks, guinea pigs, sheep, alpacas, goats, deer, and ponies. Beyond the farm, guests can enjoy a games room, various play areas (outdoors as well as a small indoor one), carp fishing on the lakes, an gym (adult-only), pitch and putt golf, as well as the Camel River and 26 acres of open space to explore.

After spending over two decades teaching in secondary schools in and around London, Anya and Emma moved to Coombe Mill in December 2020. Their three young children, Millie, Sam, and Sienna, share their love for the outdoors, making Coombe Mill the perfect place for them all to call home. More than just a business, Coombe Mill is Anya and Emma's passion and their hobby. They live making them the perfect hosts and they're thrilled to share their home with all their guests. With their hard work and dedication, you can enjoy all that Coombe Mill has to offer and create unforgettable memories.

How To Get There
Access by road
From Exeter (A30 North) Take A30. Just after Launceston take A395 at the North Cornwall (Kennards House) turning towards Wadebridge and Camelford. Follow the A395 to the end where it meets joins the A39, turn left to Camelford. On the other side of Camelford just passed the fuel station, turn left on to the B3266 to Bodmin. After 3 miles turn left to St Breward and Coombe Mill. Fork right to Coombe Mill. Take next left to ‘Coombe’ and Penrose Burden. Drive down the hill to Coombe Mill. From Plymouth (A38) Take A38 to Bodmin. At Bodmin take A389 to Wadebridge. 1 mile after Dunmere Bridge turn right on to B3266 to Camelford. 1 mile after Longstone turn right to St Breward. Take 2nd left, after road narrows and before bridge signed Michaelstow and Camelford. Take next right to ‘Coombe’ and Penrose Burden. Drive down hill to Coombe Mill. Across Bodmin Moor There is a slip road off the A30 signposted St Breward. You will need a map or Sat Nav as the route into St Breward is not well signed. If you are lost in St Breward, pass the pub, shop and church on your right and turn left at every tarmac junction and you will arrive at Coombe Mill after about 1.5 miles. Using Sat Nav If your Sat Nav is older than Jan 2018: From the A30 take the Camelford / North Cornwall Exit even if your sat nav does not tell you to. Once you are on the A395 the Sat Nav should automatically re-route you through Camelford. If your Sat Nav is post Jan 2018 you can safely follow it across Bodmin Moor on the new A30 slip road.
